Hellenic Taceval Team

TACEVAL is a transformational and capability-focused, NATO team which evaluates the military
combat readiness, interoperability and sustainability of tactical Air Units through the ACO TACEVAL
Programme.

The principal aims of the ACO TACEVAL Program are:
1: To evaluate and rate against prescribed requirements and standards the operational combat
readiness and capability of tactical air units allocated to SACEUR as NATO Command, Assigned,
Earmarked and such additional forces made available to SACEUR in consultation with NATO and
Partner nations.
2: To certify air units declared as NRF with respect to their operational readiness and capability
against prescribed standards.
3: To identify deficiencies in national/unit resources or performance.
4: To make recommendations for the improvement of operational standards and capabilities.
