Archangel International Air Show - Hellenic Air Force

Hellenic Air Force organised an international Air Show, named "Archangel 2005" at Tanagra Air Base (114 Combat Wing).
The event was scheduled to start on Friday September 16 and end on Sunday September 18,when an impressive air display took place.
Combat aircraft, helicopters and various other weapon systems used by the Hellenic Air Force exhibited at the show.
The public had the opportunity to assess for the first time the operational capabilities of the Hellenic Air Force by witnessing simulated attacks and other operational flights, including those flying activities that are directly related to HAF's public contribution. Additionally, Hellenic training aircraft T-6 performed aerobatic manoeuvres.
A large number of allied or friendly nations and companies had been invited to participate in static and flying displays, and the majority of them replied positively. Their presence gave the show an international nature and the chance to the public to view various high-tech aircrafts and staggering aerobatics performed by renowned aerobatic teams.
At the same period, the local communities had the opportunity to meet HAF's personnel as all the Hellenic Air Force bases opened to the public.
