Royal International Air Tattoo took place last weekend 18 & 19 of July 2009 in Fairford UK. With over 300+ aircraft participating each year, upwards of 170,000 visitors and support from the Royal Air Force and some of the world’s leading aerospace companies, the Royal International Air Tattoo has been acknowledged as the world’s largest military airshow. Greece participated RIAT 2009 with a RF-4 E Phantom II of 348 Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron which is placed in Larisa 110 CW. The pilots of Hellenic Air Force arrived Fairford on Thursday 16 and left the airport on Monday 20 of July. In the following pictures that are taken from our friend Kostas Tsipas you can see the crew and the technicians that accompanied the RF-4E Phantom of 348 TRS also patches, stickers and book that were sold to viewers of RIAT in Fairford.
