This year 116 Combat Wing in Araxos Air Base was the center of the attention of the Hellenic Air Force Fans since the new F-16 Blk52+M were about to be exhibited. We had the opportunity to visit Araxos last Friday 6th of November 2009 and take some pictures from the new delivered aircrafts and of course the “about to be retired” A-7 Corsairs. A lot of kids from local schools gave a special character to the exhibition. Pilots and other personnel of 116 COmbat Wing had the kidness to share the secrets of their job with them.

Witty Industrial Co. announced the release of two Hellenic Air Force aircraft models in popular scale 1/72. One for anniversary painted A-7E Corsair of 336 Squadron “Olympos” and another for the F-16C Blk 30 Fighting Falcon of 330 Squadron “Thunder”. The release is awaited in December 2009.
