New Category “Photographers”

New category in gallery called “Photographers” has been created in order to host the work of greek and foreign aviation photographers. Photo Session at Araxos Air Base

Hellenic Air Force and especially 116 CW had the honour to host the world famous photographer Katsuhiko Tokunaga for the needs of Code One Magazine which is a quarterly publication of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company. The camera of our friend Andreas (aka Stabilator) was there and got some nice pictures of the formation of two A-7 Corsairs and three F-16 Blk52+ Advanced (including the double-seat Chase Plane). We are awaiting the real thing by hand of Katsuhiko Tokunaga soon.

HAF Open Day: 117 CW Andravida

We visited 117 CW based in Andravida Air Base and had the luck  to meet a group of spotters coming from the Netherlands. We took some pictures of them while they shot two Phantoms landing. If anyone of you guys sees that topic please do send us your photos. Our friend Kostas Ntasios also sent us some really great photos from the exhibition. Please enjoy!

HAF Open Day: 112 CW Elefsina

Our beloved friends ‘Leopard‘ and Dimitris Sambanis hit again with some special photos from 112 CW placed in Elefsina AB. A lot of squadrons are based there so be prepared for walkarounds of a lot of aircrafts and helicopters.

HAF Open Day: 110 CW Larissa

Mainly rainy the weather in 110 CW located in Larissa but this fact was not a problem for Kostas Alkousis and Dimitris Boudouris who sent us these beautiful pictures from the aircraft exhibition and kiosk used to provide patches, t-shirts, caps etc to the visitors of the unit based in Central Greece.
